Coach Shane Schilling is a CYSA level "E" licensed coach.  He has combined playing 
and coaching experience covering 15 years. 

 2002 Panthers Update

First Year, U-14 Girls Division

Congratulations Panthers on a great 2002 season.  After running over division Two teams, 5-0-0, we were moved to division One where the competition was fierce.  Against some great teams we went 2-2-1 for a season finish of 7-2-1.  We scored 45 goals against 19 given up. Not only did we score a lot of goals, we worked very well together as a team.  This year we had more assists on this team than any other team I have coached.  Great job girls.  I had a lot of fun coaching you and I hope you enjoyed your season. 

Our defence, including goalie Shannon, and fullbacks Mandi, Ashley, and Sherrie allowed only 19 goals.  Our midfielders group of Jestina, Mikayla, Joanna, Randi, Savannah, Jennifer, and Ashley did an outstanding job of transitioning the game.  They controlled the ball and delivered it  to our forwards to finish our attacks while also defending and turning away strong challenges.  Our offence did their job well and scored often.  The forward line of Dejona (25 goals, 1 assist),  Kelsie (9 goals, 8 assists),  Victoria (5 goals, 2 assists), and Sarah (2 goals) worked hard together to drive the ball into our opponent's goal.

I hope to see you again next year.  Remember, signups are in April.  If you don't get the league letter, call me and I will give you the details.  Until then, enjoy your time off and if you are interested, there is always Softball to take up your time in early Spring!
